Spring means welcoming the return of farmers' markets and spring vegetables. We will celebrate the nutritional qualities of spring vegetables & edible spring weeds! We will share ideas about trying to include more veggies in all of our meals & snacks. And, since veggie prep usually involves knives, we’ll have a review of food safety in the kitchen.

Join RSS art instructor April Lombardi and Chef Brandy Cochrane from PPMNY for this 3-part series designed to help you get comfortable:

- Safely using a knife and confidently cutting different shapes and sizes
- Connecting art to the cooking process to make it more fun
- Building flavorful sauces, and dressings, and using spices in everyday cooking
- Using color theory to create dishes that are attractive and nutritious.

We want you to leave with a clear explanation as to why eating the rainbow can benefit your health in more ways than one!
The first two interactive culinary and art demonstrations will be online. and But, you’ll be able to join us in person for the final event at RSS. Join us to put your skills to work, connect with others, and enjoy a colorful culminating lunch!
