Tap dancing is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion and is often accompanied by music. Tap dancing can be performed with or without music.
Besides being a fun dance form, tap dancing has many health benefits. It increases energy and stimulates cognitive thinking. Tap dancing has cardiovascular health benefits. It also increases bone strength. It's an excellent gentle muscle stretching and strengthening exercise. Best of all, there are no jumps and leaps.
