Presenter: Natalie Levy, M.D. Director, Primary Care Diabetes Program, Bellevue Hospital
Dr. Levy will lead a discussion on type 2 diabetes including how to prevent its development and how to manage it if it does occur. Being
more physically active and eating healthier are cornerstones for both the prevention and management of this disease. The most common
medications used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes will be reviewed. Dr. Levy is an Associate Professor at the NYU Grossman School of
Medicine and practices medicine at Bellevue Hospital, where she is the director of the Primary Care Diabetes Program. The Primary Care Diabetes Program focuses on the care of people with Type 2 Diabetes. Dr. Levy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
