Led by Neem Dewji. Neem is the director of Yoga for Bliss. She teaches yoga at various levels: Level 1, gentle, chair yoga, and therapeutic yoga. She also teaches meditation and stress management. "It's wonderful to have been able to create a yoga and wellness community in Riverdale and Yonkers! In these fast, busy, and stressful times, we offer a space where people can come together with similar intention: to stop, to release stress, and to remember their more expanded and sacred sense of self."

Do you have problems with your balance? Good balance is important at any age, but particularly as we get older. Peggy Levine”s Balance Training class uses multiple methods to help you improve your balance. From sitting to strengthen the core muscles of the torso and flexibility to strengthening exercises for the feet. The class also does balance movements standing in front, behind, and beside a chair, sometimes on two feet, and sometimes on one foot. This class will help you to become more stable when walking or even just standing to help to prevent falls.

Peggy Levine teachers numerous balance and pilates classes. She also has the following certifications: Exercise Etc. Programs for Older Adults, Senior Fitness Specialist, ACE Group Fitness, and SCW Pilates instructor.

The class starts off with a body scan meditation & breathing exercise to calm the nervous system and ground the body. The class then receives a Reiki treatment as we come together in deep relaxation to recharge and reconnect with ourselves. Be in a comfortable seated position or lie down on a bed/yoga mat.

Boshko Boskovic is the founder of Let’s Heal NYC, a private practice specializing in Reiki treatments. He is a Reiki Master, trained & certified in the Usui Shiki Ryoho linage.He has worked at Reiki Clinics at the Jewish Community Center in Manhattan and Maha Rose Center for Healing in Brooklyn.

We are spiritual beings having a 3-dimensional experience made up of Mind, Body, and Spirit. We have been socialized to pay attention mostly to the mind and body while we think of Spirit as something beyond ourselves. But in order to become centered it is necessary to think of the Mind-Body-Spirit as one unit that ideally works together in harmony.

In these workshops, we will discuss a variety of spiritual topics, offer tools to on a regular basis to reconnect to Source and be more present while the guided meditations will create the space for you to begin to center yourselves and start the process of reconnecting the Mind-Body-Spirit.

Come join us for a monthly grounding meditation that will help you to expand outward to multiple dimensions while remaining firmly grounded in the here and now.
