Golden Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of whole plant-based milk (or regular milk)
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or agave 
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon of ground ginger
  • Pinch of black pepper

Directions

  1. IHeat the plant-based (or regular) milk over medium-low heat, 
  2. Add the maple syrup (or agave), vanilla extract, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of black pepper (adjust to taste), and whisk regularly for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and serve when it’s hot to drink but not yet boiling.
