Support Services

In addition to proactively engaging and enhancing different aspects of an older adult’s life, there can be issues that require more structured support. Our team of licensed clinicians work closely with our members to provide top level care and management.

  • Our Licensed Social Workers provide comprehensive services to all who seek help. We are always here to lend a hand.

  • We recognize the importance of addressing emerging and ongoing health concerns and meet that need with a range of informational and clinical services.

  • Our social-model day program for members who have memory loss or physical frailties is designed to help them maintain their independence in the community, heighten their well-being and self-esteem, and reduce isolation and boredom.

  • In partnership with Mosaic Mental Health, RSS offers an array of on-site mental health services, including individual counseling and weekly support groups provided by licensed clinical social workers.

  • Homebound Support

We are committed to staying connected to homebound members. Our licensed social worker actively follows up on members who have been hospitalized or become homebound. We also offer a special online program where members can connect, learn and even play their favorite card and board games with others.

  • In a city like ours, members don’t always have their own cars or access to public transportation. Our handicapped-accessible buses provide service regular service to and from RSS five days a week, and are also available for chartered rides for local doctor visits.

  • Foo Foo is our certified pet therapy dog. Pet Therapy dogs help people relax, remind them of great times and alleviate stress. Everyone here loves Foo Foo and we think you will too. Click the link above and learn more about him.
