Fire Safety Presentation (In Person)

Join NYC Aging and the New York City Fire Department for a safety presentation to learn how to keep yourself safe from fire and schedule a free state-of-the-art smoke and carbon monoxide detector installed in your home.

-Common causes of fires (e.g., cooking, e-bikes, electrical, candles, smoking, heaters, etc.)

-Escape plans, based on the type of building they live in
-Closing doors if there is a fire
-Importance of obtaining a fire extinguisher in your home
