St. Margaret’s House, located in Lower Manhattan, is an affordable housing community serving older adults (62+) and disabled individuals (18+). Sponsored by Trinity Church Wall Street, SMH opened its doors in 1981. There are 249 one & two bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens, air conditioners, lots of closets and recently upgraded electrical and fire safety systems. SMH offers 24/7/365 front desk security, and is minutes from NYC transit, both trains and busses, and NY Presbyterian Hospital.

From August 2nd through August 31st, 2023, SMH will be accepting pre-applications to enter a lottery for a spot on our waiting list. The lottery will be held on Thursday, September 7th at 10 am at SMH. Pre-applications will be available during this period only, in-person or online.
