Talent is Timeless Competition Round 1 at RSS Center

Can you sing, dance, do a great comedy routine. Participate in NYC's Aging Talent is Timeless Competition and strut your stuff!

Ground Rules
* You must be a registered client of an NYC Older adult center (like RSS) to participate.
* The contest will run between July 3 and September 29th with dates subject to change. This is a judged competition.
* There are a number of rounds of competition. If a contestant advances from the first round they must commit to participating in all subsequent rounds

Round 1 is a local competition. RSS is looking at doing our local competition on July 19
The top 3 acts from each of these local competitions (held all over the city) will advance to the next round

Round 2 is a regional competition, with locations to be determined.

Round 3 is a borough-based competition.

Round 4 is a city-wide competition. The winner of that is the champion of the talent show.

The decisions of the judging panels for each round of competition are final and not subject to change

Other General Rules
* Acts must be performed live
* Acts must be performative in nature - singing, dancing, instrumental music, martial arts, comedy skits/sketches, original poetry readings, magic shows, martial arts showcases, juggling, etc. Contestants must provide all of their own music, instruments, props, and costumes.
* Solo or group acts are allowed. No more than 10 people are allowed for a group act.
* Acts must be in good taste and family-friendly.
* Visual arts and crafts displays/demonstrations will not be allowed
