Dr. Andrew B. Wallach will present on the COVID-19 pandemic and, specifically, will focus on how the virus has impacted older adults. He will address prevention measures such as the benefits of getting the COVID-19 vaccine, proper use of masks, review the different COVID-19 tests, and discuss support services available to seniors and their families, if they test positive. He will also talk about how to stay safe after you get the vaccine, and how it will impact your daily life. Finally, Dr. Wallach will answer your questions and concerns about COVID-19.
ANDREW B. WALLACH, MD, FACP, Ambulatory Care Chief Medical Officer- NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, Chief Medical Officer, NYC Test & Trace Corps. Throughout the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Wallach has led the testing initiatives and COVID-19 vaccination efforts at NYC Health + Hospitals and was named Chief Medical Officer for the NYC Test & Trace Corps. A clinician-educator, he is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Innovation (DGIMCI) at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
