September's book is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi.

Theo of Golden by Allen Levi is a tender, uplifting story about the quiet power of intentional kindness, community, and human connection.

When a courtly, mysterious old gentleman named Theo settles in the small town of Golden, he discovers 92 pencil portraits of local residents hanging in a downtown coffee shop. Theo sets out on a quiet mission: buying the portraits one by one to hand-deliver them to their subjects—asking for nothing in return except an unhurried conversation and a shared story.
