This neighborhood at the edge of Upper West Side and Harlem, on top of a rocky land formation, is unique in that it houses several major institutions for soul mind and body: St John the Divine and Riverside Church, Columbia University, and St Luke’s Hospital, all with very impressive architectural structures.
