As most of you know Julia Schwartz-Leeper has left RSS to take on an exciting new role as Foundation Director for Visiting Nurse Services of Westchester. Julia made enormous contributions to RSS for which we are extremely grateful. The Board of Directors is actively recruiting for a new Executive Director. While that search is going on RSS has hired an Interim Executive Director. Today we'd like to introduce you to Sandra Bowie.

Sandra Bowie has spent the last two decades serving in leadership for the non-profit and university sectors with emphasis on culture, education and the arts. Her background includes, program management, organizational leadership, fundraising, strategic planning, advocacy for social change, professorships in the arts and professional performance. Her career has encompassed professorships at major universities in the country including Howard University and Yale University and arts leadership in organizations that include, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy and New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
