What You Receive at this Fundraiser
To be able to continue a robust schedule of programs and events RSS needs your support! Join us for an exciting online fundraising event that starts with an art history lecture on Michelangelo and Abstraction followed by a painting lesson with April Lombardi, limited to 20 participants and suitable for all levels of experience.
In the art history lecture, you will see famous works by Michelangelo, Henry Moore, and other artists who worked with abstraction. In the art lesson you will be guided in creating an abstract acrylic painting on canvas.
As a thank-you-from-the-bottom-of-our-hearts gift from RSS you will be sent an all-inclusive acrylic paint set to use in the art lessons. The kit (valued at approximately $100) includes 48 acrylic paint colors, brushes, canvas panels, acrylic pad, palette, plastic painting knife set, color wheel, and a compact aged-beechwood storage box with a built-in table-top easel.
Many of you know April Lombardi and have experienced her fun, free, online art history lectures and art classes sponsored weekly by RSS. This fundraiser painting lesson will be different than her usual class format with the opportunity for more individualized attention with enrollment limited to 20.
