As we go through life, we go through many transitions. That is especially true for older adults who may need to adjust to the losses of loved ones, changing health status and living situations. Right now, Covid is making everything harder as we deal with confusing information about booster shots, what’s safe and face the possibility of another isolating winter.

In the Life transitions group, we will call on our accumulated wisdom and life experience to help one another cope positively with those changes that we cannot control, and must learn to live with. We will share our stories of how we have managed stress and difficult times in order to support one another.

Some of those stories may be sad, and some funny. Laughter is a great coping method. We will also take time at the end of each session to close our eyes and take some slow deep breaths.

Susan Cohn, RSS’s clinical social worker will facilitate the group, to be held (in person and on Zoom)

Registration is required. Please indicate if you will be online or in person
