Resiliency & Mindfulness: An 8 Week Workshop
What is mindfulness? It's the ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. During these difficult times, mindfulness can help you to live in the moment and reduce stress and anxiety.
Each week will cover a specific topic - Resilience and Mindfulness, Mindfulness Through the Ears, Mindfulness through Touch, Mindfulness through taste, Mindfulness through Smell, Mindfulness through Motion, and Reflection.
The occupational therapy students from Columbia University will be leading this workshop series.
